I want to be sure that the guy in 1st floor that shares my adsl Step 2: Configure each company routers DHCP/LAN side as a different IP scheme (ex 192.168.5.1, 192.168.6.1 and so on) Step 3. MAKE SURE to plug each router’s uplink directly into the U-Verse Modem/Router. This is CRUCIAL. If you go through a switch, your configuration will not work! They use different channels: 1 for the arris, 8 for the linksys.
